gooeyTEAM (Catriona Shaw& Malve Lippmann) have been addressing the flattened world of computer screens in projects since 2009. Combining performance, audience interaction and installation, they translate 2D elements of graphical user interfaces into '3D' physical performative spaces and back again. Doing the Gooey has been presented in art and theatre venues in Berlin and Vienna. The performance 'Gooey  2.0' was awarded the Scottish Art Council's „Alt-W Prize“ in 2010 and presented at the CCA in Glasgow. The performative installation EUR.App that premiered in Berlin in Summer 2011 humorously integrates the multifarious functions of mobile apps with current political agendas, whilst ongoing project Xana-do presents a type of badminton-ballet homage to hyperlinks and digital documents.
